Managing Director

Calibrate Ltd, part of RSK Group are recruiting for a Managing Director to join the team based in the North East.

In this leadership role, Calibrate are looking for the Managing Director to inject energy into the company while undertaking a transformational project, delivering and growing the business whilst building upon the existing strategic plan. Calibrate has a superb reputation as the ‘go to’ company for Commercial Heat Pumps and CHP systems and they are looking for the new Managing Director to further enhance that reputation within the industry.

Specific Industry experience is not required, however experience in mechanical and electrical project delivery of small to medium sized commercial engineered equipment is essential. This role requires strong leadership with multiple years of experience within businesses.

You will:

  1. Be experienced in writing, analysing and managing contracts both legally and commercially.
  2. Have done previous transformational roles with experience in an engineering or renewables environment.
  3. Lead by example and uphold the standards, ethos of the RSK Group.
  4. Provide inspiration and motivation to the team.
  5. Comply with RSK Group’s and Government Health and Safety Policy, GDPR and HSE.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a managing director in an SME environment.
  • Delivery of M&E type projects to specification, on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrable success in the sales arena.
  • Ability to organise, lead, develop and motivate those within the business.
  • Ability to work alongside a large parent organisation.
  • Degree level Engineering qualification.
  • Proven experience working within ISO 9001 systems and procedures.
